DataVoila provides a compact scripting environment specifically designed for processing all kinds of data formats. With DataVoila you can easily modify text files, create CSV documents and automate various other data-related tasks.

The scripting capabilities of DataVoila are based on C# and the .NET framework, giving you all the benefits of one of the most widely used and powerful programming platforms available. This doesn't mean, however, that you have to be a master programmer to use the software. The included example projects, the detailed manual and the lightweight user interface make getting started with DataVoila a breeze.

A simple example will best illustrate how the software works:

Let us assume you have a list of names that contains numerous duplicate entries that you want filtered out. In order to clean up the list, first you need to paste it into DataVoila's "Input" box.

Then, write a few lines of (C#) code that loop through the text lines, removing any duplicate entries. Instead of writing your own code from scratch, you can also use one of DataVoila's various sample projects as a starting point.

After finishing the code, all you have to do is click the "Run" button and you will have a perfectly clean list, ready to be copied to the Clipboard or saved as a file.
